With 300,000 trees and 6400 hectares of green space, Madrid is the second most sustainable city in the world (the first being Tokyo), and has more trees and green space per inhabitant than any other European city. Regarding Madrid's weather, winters can be very cold, but minimum temperatures thar will rarely fall below 32ºF. Snow is not very common, but you can definitely find it in Madrid's mountains. Summers in Madrid tend to be dry and can be very hot. July and August are the months were the maximum temperatures can be felt (above 86ºF and even around 104ºF).
Another great thing about Madrid is that it is pretty close to everywhere, thanks to an amazing public transportation system, trains that can take you to different parts in the Península, and the airport Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, the first airport in Spain (regarding passenger traffic, transport of goods and operations) and the 5th in the ranking of European airports according to Eurostat agency data, and is the fifteenth in the world by passenger traffic, according to ACI agency statistics.
